Branch 294 and LAFRA Unit 294 had many members in attendance at the program. This year the Branch sponsored 2 flags honoring recently deceased members, Joe Lentini and Ed William.

Our branch celebrated the USMC Birthday by having a a cake cutting ceremony immediately following our regular monthly meeting.
Branch 294 participated in the Crossville Veterans Day Parade by towing its float.
After our monthly meeting, we enjoyed fellowship and a cake cutting ceremony celebrating the Navy's 249th birthday which fell on October 13, 2024.
After our monthly meeting, John Harris took the lead at the USCG for the cake cutting ceremony celebrating its 234th birthday which fell on August 4, 2024.
For the good of the order, Branch President Matt Gellman awarded Past SER President Bobby Smith the FRA's 35th Year Membership Pin. Congratulations Bobby!
Past SE Regional President, Bobby Smith, presided as the Installing Officer. Installed as Branch President was Matt "Gabby Gellman"; Joe Filipczak as 1st Vice President; Russel Cope as 2nd Vice President; John Harris as Branch Secretary; and Richard Comshaw as Branch Treasurer.
FRA Branch 294 Vice President Bruce Ferris, Branch Secretary John Harris, and Branch President Tim Grimes all participated in the initiation and welcoming of new member Matt Gellman to the Branch. (Left or Top Carousel).
In addition, Shipmate Phillip Early was welcomed into Branch 294. He was also presented with an FRA lapel pin and Welcome Aboard letter. Shipmate Early transferred from a branch in Virginia (Right or Bottom Carousel).

Our branch celebrated the Coast Guard Birthday. Shipmate Harris (L) brought his sword and shipmates, Alenitsch (C) & Mellert (R) cut the cake. Our fellow Navy shipmates and Marines were there to celebrate with us. Semper Paratus!
